It’s heartbreaking to see many animals who are neglected or in abusive hands of people whom they love. Each animal has their own stories, suffering from fear, anxiety, and sheer loneliness. Due to lack of love and care, they often lose faith in humans and even lose hope for the future. Thankfully, there are some who are lucky enough to be rescued and given a second chance at a new life, where they are nurtured back into being happy and healthy by love and care. From sad faces in tiny cages to wide smiles on king size beds, these animals found happiness in their homes, regained their trust in humans, and couldn’t hide their feelings.
To prove the power of a loving home, we would like to show you some photos of animals after being rescued and adopted. These photos accentuate love and care are the two most powerful things that heal all wounds. Scroll down and meet the lucky ones!

#9. Before And After Adoption
#10. “This guy showed up on our porch one day. He was emaciated, dirty brown fur, covered with ants, cross eyed and barely alive. The humane society wouldn’t take him because he was in such bad shape. So we kept him and named him Knut. He turned into a fluffy white monster.”
#11. “My girlfriend and I adopted Buck in August of 2019, he’s changed our lives more than we did his and has been the best choice we’ve made. Love this guy to death!”
#12. From Cellmates to Lifemates
#13. This is the same cat, 6 months apart. She was one of 2 cats that were abandoned by their mother.
#14. Ripley at ~6 months in Iran & again at ~1 year in her forever home in the United States.
#15. Magnum was rescued by a local shelter where I live. Thank you to all of you who work tirelessly to save these angels’ lives.
#16. She was originally called “Gremlin.” But after being rescued and treated by a local vet, she’s looking much healthier.
#17. Mr. Rogers. Blind, emaciated, FAMISHED, and so weak he couldn’t walk. His literal bones were jutting out through his skin. Like white bone. I brought him home from the shelter for the night but decided he needed to go stay at the veterinarian after I saw his condition.
#18. He looks much healthier and happier after 5 months of being adopted.
#19. “One year ago when I rescued her and now, showing gratitude.”
