As humans, we have so many dreams and wishes in life – all the nice and gorgeous things that make us happy and we will try our best to achieve them. The little dog in this story proves that animals have their dreams, too. He had a wish that he could walk on his own legs.

The dog lived with his family in a village. His name was Jjomaeng and he was a beautiful puppy. Unfortunately, he was born without legs, just used his whole body to move. Since his mother left them, his younger brother Earllook took care of him instead. And thankfully, they had a very caring lady owner who cared for them a lot. She often laid a mat on the yard so Jjomaeng could exercise on it. Jjomaeng tried so hard to take a few steps by his incomplete legs. Despite the disability that he suffered from, Jjomaeng still was an adorable and positive puppy that he agilely moved around the mat and took the food by himself.

Sometimes, dogs in the house came to play with Jjomaeng and his brother, but they were a bit wild to Jjomaeng. Earllook was such a good brother as he always protected Jjomaeng. Eventually, the dogs were sent outside, and Jjomaeng was left alone. He could do nothing but hopelessly saw others go and play, his eyes full of desire and sadness.

Every time the owner went to work, she took Jjomaeng with her. The poor dog watched other dogs excitedly play together and wished that he could join them. He tried to crawl forwards, but it took too much energy for him to reach them so he had to let it go. But from his heart, he wanted to go out and explore the big world he never had a chance to experience. He wished he could run around like other dogs.

And his wish really came true. The kind-hearted members from Kritter Klub made him a wheelchair to help him move easier, and a bright world opened for him. The lady owner cried tears of happiness seeing the precious pup managed to walk on his own. He needed time to get used to his “new legs”, but with his strong desire, he would able to walk and play with his brother soon.
