It’s not always easy living in a park or a zoo where all creatures belong to different species and it’s so hard to find a match. However, after so many times being rejected, a Siberian bear cub named Tallulah and a German shepherd named Kayden have found one another at last.
Talullah was the youngest resident of Bailiwick Animal Park, Catskill, New York back then. This park is home to mainly rescued animals, so it is no surprise that countless members of the park live there without a family. And so did Tallulah. The little brown bear was brought to Bailiwick Animal Park when she was just a newborn and she had spent the first four months of her life in loneliness.
Being young and playful, Tallulah often tried hard to make friends with everyone around her, but it was all in vain. The baby girl had no one to turn to, until Kayden came into her life. And their bond bloomed beautifully right at their first meeting.
Kayden was already two years old when he first met Tallulah. Being the only dog of the sanctuary, Kayden desperately needed a companion who should be as energetic and active as he was. And when the dog saw the baby bear playing on her own, he immediately knew he had found exactly what he’d been looking for.
The only pawblem was, Tallulah had no interest in Kayden’s favorite activities, including swimming, playing fetch or messing up his squeaky toy. However, just when Kayden ran out of ideas and wanted to give up, Tallulah showed him that things could be so much simpler than what he imagined. There was no need to complicate the process, they could just be themselves to have fun with each other.
Tallulah and Kayden have been almost inseparable since then and nothing could ever change their friendship. Just take a look at the unlikely yet lovely duo:
