According to many recent surveys, obesity and overweight are always among the top health concerns which often seriously affect their victims physically and mentally. And facing such problems, a dog is no stronger than a human.
Tony the German Shepherd weighed 150 lbs when he first met Lee Asher – the overweight boy was called “Bear” because he was literally as big as a real bear. He looked depressed, but something in his eyes captured Lee’s attention. The kind man immediately knew he had to do everything it took to help this sad guy.

Without a second thought, Lee adopted Tony and took the pooch home to meet his other 8 dogs – a unique gang with different dog breeds and different personalities. And Tony fit right in.

It was quite difficult at first as the poor boy didn’t believe in himself, but with the help of the whole gang, Tony gradually feel motived and started to enjoy exercises. He found love and friendships in this new home, something he had never experienced before.

Later Tony was able to join Lee on his awesome journeys to promote pet adoption across the US, and he surely was feeling much better than ever. The boy just couldn’t get enough of living in the spotlight as he is loved by thousands of people all over the country:

The strong boi still continued to strive afterward and he has lost a total of 50 lbs so far! Lee and Tony’s incredible story has inspired plenty of people to begin working out or help their pets keep fit. They know that if they’re determined enough, there are a lot of things they can do without even knowing it.

Let’s admire Tony’s amazing transformation:
